Advise the local co-ordinator of arrival date and time to arrange airport pick up. The arrival and departure dates for India Sectors 3 & 4 will be available on this site at a later date. There will be options to join the Tour in different parts of India. AccommodationAccommodation, where not at a Shanti Mandir ashram will be organised for you by the local co-ordinators. Payment will be required for all accommodation. ActivitiesThe details of the activities in Indian Sectors 2, 3 and 4 are currently being finalised and will be posted on this Web Site in the future. Activities will include an extended stay in the Shanti Mandir Ashram at Magod in Gujarat. The Tour will visit many sites associated with Baba, including places in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab and many more. Maharashtra has a rich spiritual tradition and was the home of a number of great saints including Shirdi Sai Baba, Sant Jnaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram. A number of places of pilgrimage associated with Maharashtra's spiritual tradition will be visited.
The Tour will also visit North India starting with New Delhi. During his lifetime, Baba visited New Delhi regularly and has many devotees there. The Tour will travel to Agra on the banks of the Yamuna River and Haridwar where Shanti Mandir has a beautiful ashram close to the Ganges River. There will also be visits to many other cities where there are Baba devotees. The final stage of the Jayanti Tour will be centered on the Magod Ashram. This phase will include Vasant Navatra.
Final celebrations to mark the end of the one year tour will include a three day Yagna, two days of Sangeet Sammelan (Music Festival), five days of chanting and three days of satsang leading up to the 100th anniversary of Baba's birthday on 19 May 2008. Contacts
