"In The Footsteps of Bliss" World Tour May 2, 2007 - May 19, 2008 In celebration and remembrance, Gurudev Swami Nityananda will follow the footsteps of his guru, Baba Muktananda around the world. For twelve months he and devotees, will visit the many places where Baba is revered and his teachings practiced. Baba spent most of his life seeking the direct and enduring experience of the divine. From the moment of his liberation from limited consciousness, all who experienced his presence enjoyed a taste of his inspired joy. Baba had a limitless capacity to share his grace and the truth of the scriptures. Today there are countless people in many countries of the world who live in gratitude and quiet service, Baba's grace secure in their hearts. The world tour with Gurudev, "In the Footsteps of Bliss", will focus on sharing Baba's teachings and celebrating his centenary through satsang, discourse, chanting and meditation. The celebrations will commence at Shanti Mandir in Magod on April 21, 2007 with an 11-day program leading up to Baba's 99th Birthday - the official start day of the Tour. The Tour will conclude on May 19, 2008 back in India.
